How I decide
Research before pixels
Complaints come before screens.
RIPEN — research agents analysed 873 one- and two-star reviews to my questions; the findings killed two of my own hypotheses before any design.Cut what doesn’t earn its place

Bukvyk — archived 42 finished AI-generated scenes: a still picture couldn’t make “true or false” unambiguous.Measure, don’t guess

Salient — dropped a small model that found fewer than four in ten items and copied its own instructions into the list: weak phones get no sorting, not fake groceries.AI does the typing, I make the calls
I set the goal, keep the decision log and make the agents prove their work.
Salient — agents raised 173 findings, and others were told to refute the 40 most serious. 37 held; the six critical ones, including the app deleting its own model, are fixed and checked on a phone.
03 — About
The short version
I’ve designed digital products since 2020, across fintech, SaaS and health tech. Since 2023 I’ve been cashtime’s only product owner and its product designer: I write and prioritise the backlog for a team of about six, design the app and the website, and build what the team is missing.
On the side I build my own apps end to end with Claude Code — RIPEN, Salient and Bukvyk. The research, design and decisions are mine; AI agents write the code, and I check what they build.
